Our Mission
The environment for qualified retirement plans is highly regulated and
continues to change as a result of tight regulatory oversight by the
Department of Labor (DOL).
Plan Sponsors (our clients) are the Fiduciaries who must act solely in the
interest of Plan Participants and their beneficiaries with the exclusive
purpose of providing benefits to them. They bear the responsibility to
ensure the company's 401K plan provides the most cost effective
fiduciary services and investment opportunities that will solely benefit
Plan Participants.
Plan sponsors are responsible to understand and comply with all DOL
fee disclosures and reporting requirements. Additionally, they are
responsible to provide for investment services and opportunities that will
educate and help Plan Participants make better choices according to
their investment retirement goals.
Because of this highly regulated, continually changing and complex
environment, Plan Sponsors must be fully and continuously informed and
understand the requirements and the nuances of DOL regulations. By not
fully understanding DOL regulations, they risk situations or arrangements
where they may inadvertently put both themselves and the company's
plan(s) at risk.
FIT's service offering is delivered by highly qualified and experienced
Fiduciary Specialists whose sole responsibility is to guide, educate and
help Fiduciaries comply with DOL regulations and make the best choices
for their Plan Participants, and to educate Plan Participants to make the
best choices according to their retirement investment goals. |
